Trump Shooting Investigation Uncovers More Suspicious Actors at Donald’s Rally

It’s been nearly two weeks since Donald Trump was injured in an assassination attempt on his life. This marked the first assassination attempt on a current or former president in over forty years.

Despite this, the American people have been given few answers as to how this could have happened. Now, a disturbing development has come to light as the investigation into this assassination attempt continues.

Pennsylvania State Police Commissioner Christopher Paris just told the House Committee on Homeland Security that the 20 year-old gunman Thomas Matthew Crooks was not the only suspicious person at the rally where Trump was shot on July 13. This has raised questions as to whether or not Crooks acted alone.

From Fox News:
“Was [Crooks] the only one determined to be suspicious that day?” Rep. Andrew Garbarino asked Pennsylvania State Police Commissioner Christopher Paris on Tuesday.

“No, he was not,” Paris replied.

“They identified Crooks for not matriculating,” Colonel Paris said. “Crooks never made it through the secure perimeter into the venue space itself.”

There were at least two other suspicious people identified and tracked by the law enforcement that day – but after spotting Crooks with a rangefinder, he became a “special individual,” who was “even more suspicious,” he said.

WHAT?!

This has only fueled fueled rumors that Crooks may have had some help when he tried to kill Trump. While the FBI has claimed that Crooks did indeed act alone, distrust in the government is at an all-time high right now. That’s why rumors continue to swirl about Crooks potentially having an accomplice.

Secret Service Dropped The Ball

It’s already been established that the Secret Service dropped the ball when it came to protecting Trump from this shooting. Paris’ testimony only showed this even more. Indeed, he confirmed that Crooks was first spotted by snipers a full twenty minutes before Trump took the stage at the fateful Pennsylvania rally.

More from Fox News:
Just over ten minutes later, the Secret Service spotted him on the roof of a building about 150 yards away from the podium where Trump was set to address the crowd. A law enforcement officer was assigned to monitor the roof of the building – but a whistleblower told Missouri Sen. Josh Hawley that the officer left their post because it was “too hot.”

Less than 20 minutes afterward, Crooks fired a volley of shots from the roof.

“Before [Trump] went on to speak… just to be clear, [Crooks] was determined to be suspicious,” Paris said. “There was no information that he possessed a weapon.”

Crooks was also determined to be suspicious because “he was walking around and not moving into the venue,” Paris said.

The Secret Service had tons of time to stop Crooks before he opened fire, yet they did nothing. It’s impossible not to find this at least a tad bit suspicious.

In the end, it’s easy to see why rumors abound about this shooting, and about whether or not Crooks acted alone. While it’s important to be skeptical of conspiracy theories, it’s also crucial that the government be transparent during this investigation.

The American people deserve to know the entire truth about the first assassination attempt on a current or former president in most of our lifetimes. If we don’t start getting these answers soon, the government can only expect more conspiracy theories to continue spreading like wildfire.

Key Takeaways:

  • Trump gunman wasn’t the only suspicious person at his rally before the assassination attempt.
  • This has raised questions as to whether the gunman acted alone.
  • The Trump gunman was spotted 20 minutes before Trump even took the stage.
