Trump Launches New ‘Sledgehammer’ Video – Donald Lays Out His Pro-America Attack Plan to Take Down Biden

Former President Donald Trump isn’t wasting any time. He’s already very active in promoting his 2024 bid, and this includes releasing multiple hard-hitting statements and videos.

Trump remains the frontrunner so far among GOP 2024 hopefuls, though his primary competition – Florida Governor Ron DeSantis – hasn’t officially announced a run yet.

In the meantime, #45 is taking full advantage — he wants everyone to know exactly what he brings to the table this time around.

His latest video, posted on Twitter, unveils Trump’s “sweeping pro-American overhaul of our tax and trade policy.”

When Trump was President, he worked quickly to make America energy-independent. He didn’t want the country to rely on foreign powers to get their oil.

This resulted in low gas prices and a better international position. But Joe Biden erased all that by halting drilling and making the U.S. once again dependent on other countries, and this has been hugely problematic.

And now, we’re seeing more Chinese influence in America, and Trump believes the Biden administration would rather support the CCP than U.S. citizens.

In the video, Trump accused the current President of “pushing the same pro-China globalist agenda that ripped the industrial heart out of our country.

Trump shared his vision ‘to move from the Biden system that punishes domestic producers and rewards outsourcers to a system that rewards domestic production and taxes foreign companies and those who export American jobs.’

To make this happen, Trump wants to “phase in a system of universal base-line tariffs on most foreign products.”

On top of that, he would reduce taxes on American producers as the new tariff system rolls out, thereby giving domestic businesses the advantage. This would mean “a lot of jobs coming in.”

As for China, Trump has several policy plans designed to “completely eliminate dependence on China in all critical areas.

We will revoke China’s most-favored-nation trade status and adopt a four year plan to phase out all Chinese imports of essential goods, everything from electronics to steel to pharmaceuticals.

This will include strong protections to ensure China cannot circumvent restrictions by passing goods through conduit countries – countries that don’t make a product, but all of the sudden they’re selling a lot of product. It comes right through China, right out China, and right into our country.

Trump finished by saying he would stop U.S. companies from investing in Chinese manufacturing, and he would stop China from “buying up America.”

Lastly, #45 said none of this will ever happen with Biden in office, and accused the Biden family of receiving “millions and millions of dollars from entities tied to the Chinese Communist Party.”

Donald Trump never claimed to be much of a politician — he’s often said he’s a businessman first, and that’s what America needs to get back on track.

Many believe that if Trump had remained in the White House, the country would’ve been in a much better position financially. And when 2024 rolls around, the financial situation will still be a huge topic.

But will Trump’s message resonate with enough Americans?

Key Takeaways:

  • Former President Donald Trump released a campaign video outlining a sweeping “America First” plan.
  • He plans to prioritize U.S. manufacturing and clamp down on reliance on China.
  • This includes tariffs on foreign goods, reduced taxes on American businesses, and putting a stop to China “buying up America.”
