After a short stint of speculation, Tucker Carlson revealed his bombshell news. He traveled to Russia to interview notorious President Vladimir Putin. The interview, which is yet to be released, is sure to be a historic piece of journalism.
The mainstream media was quick to complain. Carlson is doing the work that they used to do. President Biden has brandished Putin as a modern-day Hitler—and we are to just believe what he says about him.
But Biden has allies in the European Union who are outraged that Carlson is giving Putin a chance to speak. They’d prefer Americans and Europeans only knew what they told them about the Russian leader. And now, some of them are mulling a “punishment” for Carlson doing his job.
From Daily Wire:
Members of the European Parliament are calling for sanctions against Tucker Carlson after he announced an interview with Russian leader Vladimir Putin…
European Parliament member Guy Verhofstadt, former prime minister of Belgium, said the bloc should consider imposing a “travel ban” on Carlson for serving as a “mouthpiece” for Putin.

Before his interview has been released, leaders within the EU are calling Carlson a “mouthpiece” for Vladimir Putin. And officials within the globalist organization are calling for sanctions against the American newsman.
EU member Guy Verhofstadt wants to impose a travel ban on Carlson, which would prevent him from traveling to EU member countries. It is unclear if the ban would be enforced in countries that have welcomed Carlson in the past.
This is how far censorship has gone among leftists around the world. Before they even see the interview, they are trying to block and shut down a reporter. They claim they are in the right to do this because Carlson is giving Putin a “platform.”
To the left, even speaking to one of their enemies appears to be a crime. Social networks have banned and censored countless users for similar for similar offenses. All, it seems, to protect the leftist narrative and silence any dissent.
At this time, it is unknown if the EU will go ahead and sanction the newsman. But it is unlikely Carlson will back down on his campaign to grow an independent news network. In fact, such a move by the EU will only give Carlson greater influence among many people—as they will view the former Fox News host as a kind of rebel against a corrupt elitist system.
- European Union members are calling for sanctions against Carlson for interviewing Vladimir Putin.
- They accused Carlson of being a “mouthpiece” for the president, before the interview was even aired.
- This comes as President Biden and European officials fan the flames of the Ukrainian War with no plans to end it.
