In the weeks since Minnesota Governor Tim Walz was named Kamala Harris’ running mate, Democrats have teamed up with the mainstream media to try to make him look like a grandfatherly figure with a squeaky-clean history. Unfortunately for them, however, it has quickly become clear that Walz has some major skeletons in his closet.

Walz is now being accused of misrepresenting his background. This came after a 2006 letter from the Nebraska Chamber of Commerce resurfaced.

When Walz initially ran for Congress in Minnesota, he bragged on his official campaign website that he’d received an award from the Nebraska Chamber of Commerce back in 1993. He claimed that this award was given to him for his excellent work in the business community.

However, Barry L. Kennedy, the then-president of the Nebraska Chamber of Commerce, was quick to fire back at this claim in a blistering letter. In it, Kennedy made it very clear that Walz had never received such an award.

“We researched this matter and can confirm that you have not been the recipient of any award from the Nebraska Chamber of Commerce,” the letter addressed to Walz on Nov. 1, 2006, reads.

“I am not going to draw a conclusion about your intentions by including this line in your biography. However, we respectfully request that you remove any reference to our organization as it could be considered an endorsement of your candidacy. It should be pointed out, however, that the U.S. Chamber of Commerce has endorsed your opponent, Congressman Gil Gutknecht, for his support of small business issues,” Kennedy continued.

For years, Democrats have worked overtime to try to portray Donald Trump as someone who constantly lies. Since this is one of their main method of attacks on the former president, Walz being exposed as a blatant liar himself is the stuff Democrats’ nightmares are made of.

Of course, while the media is quick to point out anything Trump says that could be construed as dishonest, they have little interest in reporting on Walz’s past lies. If a letter like this had resurfaced from the past of Trump’s running mate, Sen. JD Vance (R-OH), you can bet that it would be all over CNN and MSNBC for days. Since this letter indicates that Walz is the true liar, however, the media is already sweeping it under the rug.

This letter shows that Walz is a sleazy career politician like Harris. He and Harris will do and say anything to get elected. Don’t buy into the media’s narrative that Walz is a jolly, grandfatherly figure who just wants to do good for others. In reality, Walz can’t be trusted at all. He only cares about getting himself and his radically liberal agenda ahead, not about actually helping the American people.

We can only hope that after seeing this letter, American voters will also see who Walz really is. He may seem like a sweet Mr. Nice Guy, but he’s anything but that.
