We know the old motto: when you “go woke” you “go broke.” Numerous companies betted on the Biden administration when it pushed extreme environmental policy. Companies rushed to invest in “green” sources of energy, which have yet to be effective enough to replace fossil fuels. Other companies started to aggressively push “green” tech. But these overpriced products have flopped during a time of intense inflation.

One company has lost billions backing Joe Biden’s “Green New Deal.” But its CEO decided to go on a road trip to show off one of its electric vehicles. I guess this was some kind of publicity stunt, to convince Americans struggling to make ends meet to buy an overpriced EV. But very quickly, the CEO realized he had made a terrible mistake.

Ford CEO Jim Farley said he got a “reality check” when he tried to charge his electric car during a road trip across the American West. The incident comes as the Biden administration has spent billions of taxpayer funds to boost electric transportation…

Farley said that it took his car 40 minutes to get up to only a 40 percent charge on his car. If he were to be using a gas-powered vehicle, the process of refueling would take a mere fraction of that time in comparison.

Lol, wow. Ford CEO Jim Farley decided to go on a road trip across the American West… in a Ford EV. The West Coast, I’ll remind you, is largely run by Democrats. If there was ever a location that would have been conducive to a road trip in an EV, it would have been there.

But the man trying to push expensive electric cars realized that a road trip was totally impossible, thanks to the shocking length of time it took to charge his car.

Electric vehicles are notorious for having very short ranges. They can’t get very far before they need to be recharged. Which makes EVs useless for commercial transportation or family road trips. While driving across the country, Farley had to wait 40 minutes… to just get a 40 percent charge.

That’s worse than an iPhone on roaming!

This comes as Biden brags about spending over $55 billion in tax dollars to improve EV transportation. Uh… where is that money going, Joe? Jim Farley couldn’t even make it out of California before his crappy car died.

Tesla has tried to overcome this major problem with EVs by developing “superchargers.” But this tech is mostly only available to Tesla models and they are not available everywhere.

Hmm… if only we had a way of filling a car with an energy source that travels with it? You know, some kind of liquid that sits in a tank and can generate energy as needed. Then, all you have to do is refill that tank, in seconds, when it runs out.
